Working Women's Centre WA
We support working women.
Together, we’re building safer, fairer, more empowering workplaces for all women in Western Australia.
What we do
We stand with all women to build safer, fairer, and more empowering workplaces.
Who we are
The Working Women’s Centre WA is a not-for-profit community service that provides legal and social work support to women across Australia, addressing employment law issues and their wider social and personal impacts.
We offer free legal and social work support, education, workplace training, and advocacy — helping women navigate both the practical and personal aspects of employment law issues, and working towards safer, fairer, and more respectful workplaces for all women. We’re a collaboration between Women’s Legal Service WA and Circle Green Community Legal. Together, we deliver holistic services that centre the person, not just the problem.
We help you understand your rights and explore your options. We listen without judgment, and we respect that you are the expert in your own story.

We can help with legal issues like…
We offer free and confidential support to women and gender diverse people with work-related issues. Our team includes lawyers and social workers who work together to support you — whether you need legal advice, practical help, or someone to talk to.
Losing your job
This could include being fired without a valid reason, not being given proper notice, or being let go because of discrimination, bullying, or for standing up for your rights at work.
Knowing your rights
Understanding your rights at work is essential to ensuring fair and respectful treatment. This includes knowing what you're entitled to in terms of pay, leave, and both physical and psychological safety. Being informed empowers you to advocate for yourself and contribute to a healthier, more supportive workplace.
Unfair treatment
Bullying, harassment, and unfair treatment have no place at work. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their role or background. If you're experiencing or witnessing this kind of behaviour, it's important to know your rights and seek support because a safe and fair workplace is everyone's right.
Unwanted behaviour
Sexual harassment, assault or unwanted behaviour at work is never acceptable. Everyone has the right to feel safe and respected in their workplace. If someone’s actions make you feel uncomfortable, intimidated, or violated, it’s important to know that support is available and you do not have to face it alone.
